FROM THE PRINCIPALS OFFICE:

Reminder:  Picture Retake Day is next Friday, November 7th - Parents, if you would like your child's picture retaken, and they received a package already, they should bring their package in with them on retake day, there is no need to place a new order-Christmas City will automatically fulfill your original package using the new photo.

***For new students or anyone who was absent: Please note, there is no QR code included on this flyer.  After photos are completed on Friday, Nov. 7th, Christmas City will send the new proof cards to Jaindl, and they will include instructions on how to view and order your photos.

VETERANS DAY  is  Tuesday, November 11th.  Jaindl students and staff will present our annual Veterans Day program. 

Make sure to wear your RED, WHITE, AND BLUE on Tuesday, Nov. 11th to show your patriotic support.

• Our fall scholastic book fair is happening now until Friday, Oct. 24th.  We are looking for volunteers to help run the concession stand at the Halloween Dance this Friday night.  If we do not get enough volunteers, we will not be able to have a concession stand. Unity Day --  Jaindl Elementary is celebrating Unity Day next Wednesday, October 22nd!

Unity Day, started by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center in October 2011, is the signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month. This is a day when we can come together to send a visible message of building commUNITY through kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. The call to action is simple: wear and share the color orange. FUN WALK FUNDRAISER RESULTS AND UPCOMING EVENTS:

• 1.  Fun Walk fundraiser raised over $29,000.  Thanks so much for supporting Jaindl!  The students will all get ice cream parties on October 15 in the afternoon.  Our donation page ends this Friday at 8am.  Go to my booster.com for any last minute donations. 
• 2.  Menchies will be sold this Friday during lunch.  Bring $5 cash to purchase.
