SIGN UP TO RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGES: 
Parkland School District uses School Messenger, a rapid notification system, that allows for automated calls and emails to phone number(s) and email addresses the parent or guardian has provided to the District. This system will be used in the event of an emergency and to share important information.

To receive text messages, please do both of the following steps:

  1. Contact our main office to make the request, by phone call or email. Maximum 2 text numbers per student.

FIFTH GRADERS ONLY: Yearbook Cover Contest submissions due Dec. 9 to Mrs. Zulli. A flyer was sent home with students and can be viewed here.

With the weather turning colder please be reminded that the children go outside when the weather is 20 degrees (with the wind chill) or above, so be sure to send them with a coat in order to stay warm.

Each of these days, bagged lunches are available to purchase:

November 25, 26, and 27, 2024 are early dismissal days for Elementary students.   Parents may order a bagged lunch for 1, 2, or all 3 days.  

Bagged lunches will consist of turkey and cheese sandwiches, fruit, vegetable, and beverage and will be charged at their normal rate to students' cafeteria accounts.    On the early dismissal day, your child's bagged lunch will be delivered to the child's classroom prior to dismissal time.

Order forms are due by noon on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.   You only need to complete a form if you are requesting a lunch.

On Monday, November 11, 2024 at 9:30am, Jaindl students and staff
will present a program to honor the veterans and those men and
women who are currently serving our country who are family
members of our Jaindl students and staff. There will be a light
breakfast served at 9:00

Change for Change Campaign to collect monies for students from flood stricken areas is about to end! If you would like to participate, send your donation by the 8th.

The Food Services department is offering the option for parents to order bagged lunches for elementary students on our early dismissal days. Here is the information regarding our upcoming early dismissals Monday, November 25th through Wednesday, November 27th.

CHANGE FOR CHANGE

We have created a district-wide campaign to collect change for students in Asheville, NC, who are just getting back to school this week after about a month of not being able to attend school! Coin collections are being made through November 10.
