SIGN UP TO RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGES: 
Parkland School District uses School Messenger, a rapid notification system, that allows for automated calls and emails to phone number(s) and email addresses the parent or guardian has provided to the District. This system will be used in the event of an emergency and to share important information.

To receive text messages, please do both of the following steps:

  1. Contact our main office to make the request, by phone call or email. Maximum 2 text numbers per student.
  2. Opt-in by texting the word “yes” to 67587 from each phone number specified.

Weekly Wednesday Update - August 28, 2024

Just a reminder OPEN HOUSE for parents is this evening from 6:30 to 8:00 pm 

The PTO would like to direct you to their website, here, which will be the main source of PTO updates this year.   Find digital copies of all the flyers that will be coming home in student's folders tomorrow as well as direct links to the spirit wear sale, room parent form and volunteer clearance information.  Our first newsletter will come out next Wednesday with important reminders.  Thank you in advance for supporting the PTO.   We are looking forward to a great year!

Parent information:

April 26th, 2024 is an early dismissal day for Elementary students. Parents may order a bagged lunch.  

Bagged lunches will consist of a turkey and cheese sandwich on whole wheat bread, a bag of carrots and ranch dressing, an applesauce cup, and an 8 oz water and will be charged at their normal rate to students' cafeteria accounts. On the early dismissal day, your child's bagged lunch will be delivered to the child's classroom prior to dismissal time.

Order forms are due by noon on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024.   You only need to complete a form if you are requesting a lunch.
